Bemberg® is a regenerated cellulose fiber made from cotton linter, commonly known as cupro. Bemberg® is a brand name and registered trademark, meaning only cupro produced by Asahi Kasei of Japan may be called Bemberg®.
Cotton linter is the fine fuzz that surrounds cotton seeds, a by-product of cottonseed oil processing. Its natural properties endow Bemberg® not only with an elegant appearance, but also with comfortable functionality and outstanding environmental performance.
Bemberg® Lining refers to a premium garment lining made from Bemberg® cupro filament through spinning, weaving, and finishing processes. Thanks to its exceptional characteristics, it is widely used as the inner lining for high-end suits, overcoats, jackets, and other apparel.
